The Newest Addition To Our Home

Sooooooooo.......Darren and I have been pondering what a pain it is to have to travel with Oliver so much. He hates it, we hate it, and when it's not for extremely long periods of time, we would just rather leave him home. However, since we are responsible pet owners, we know that Oliver hasn't ever known life only through the eyes of a kitty. He's only known life with us and is very social and very "humanized." The ideal thing......a playmate. A playmate = another cat. Not something we've wanted to do......not now, not even a little bit. So, I'm in Idaho Falls a few weeks ago for a few Dr appointments and my brother comes home from mowing a neighbors lawn and summons my mother to follow him. They return with 2 little, tiny kittens who were abandoned by their wild mother. Dilemma.....what to do now. Long story short (too late, you are thinking) we now have a little sister for Oliver. The much anticipated playmate.....and they really have come to love each other. It's been very fun to watch.
Her name, you ask??? Well, look at her.....she's feisty, she's nearly all black...even her pads on her paws and her nose. Black. The only logical name is.....yep, you guessed it.....Elphie. So, meet our little Elphie.
