Walter Rane is another favorite of mine.
Some of his pieces are a little too intense for me.
He's a very dramatic artist, but I love how he depicts tender things. His work isn't always obvious or perfect, and somehow within that, it feels more honest. Don't you love how the light reflects off of the linens?
